Crafted with plant oils like Avocado, Olive, Coconut, and Palm, our Classic soaps are where Green River Basin Soapworks began - simple, effective, and beloved by many. These bars offer a clean, familiar lather and a gentle wash, with no animal fats and no frills.
As our formulations evolve, we’re gradually transitioning to tallow-based recipes that offer even greater skin nourishment, longer-lasting bars, and more use of local ingredients. While the plant-based versions of these Classics will eventually be phased out, they remain available here for those who love them or want to stock up before they’re gone.

This hardy bar will tidy up even the grittiest of grease monkeys! With chia seeds, pink himalayan sea salt and loofah, this super-scrubby bar uses natural abrasives to scour away tough contaminants like grease, oil and deep-down dirt, without leaving your skin feeling dry or raw.
This soap is a staple at our kitchen sink, where my husband washes up after working in the garage and I wash my hands frequently while cooking. The fragrance is a light, mint scent, neither strictly feminine nor masculine.
